This esprit de corps is central to the work I do. Before any form of communication or marketing can successfully reach its intended audience, it must first matter to the people internal to the institution. It must install pride. And stir hearts.
With the intellectual orientation of both a marketer and a designer, I place equal importance in data and in human creativity. Together with my client teams, we analyze the marketplace to fully understand the rational and the emotional needs of the unique people who make up our audiences and then we create the school’s content—the stories—that will resonate with them.
I am an experienced and trusted strategic consultant to people who work within institutions of higher education and independent schools. My particular areas of expertise include brand and content strategy development and integrated marketing program planning and implementation. The focus of my work is relationship-building. Between the storytellers of a school and the subjects of those stories. Between future students and the many people at the school who will guide them along their path. And, between all the people who are of the school—students, faculty and staff, alumni, professional colleagues, financial supporters, and corporate, nonprofit, and governmental partners.
I believe in educational equality and I entered my profession so that I could help every person with the desire to further their education to find the school that is the right fit for them, that will help them find their calling and support their drive to learn and to contribute positively to the communities in which they will live and work.
